Cognitive & Interpersonal Therapy Centre
About
With more than twenty years of practice and a team of over twenty-seven licensed clinicians, the Cognitive & Interpersonal Therapy Centre, known to patients as CITC, has become one of Midtown Toronto's most established psychology practices. The centre brings together psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and supervised student clinicians under one roof, offering both in-person sessions at its Yonge and Eglinton office and secure online therapy available across Ontario. CITC's clinical depth shows in the range of care it provides. Therapy services span individual, child and adolescent, family, and couples counselling, along with parent consultation and DBT group therapy. The centre is equally known for its comprehensive assessment work, offering psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, giftedness, and learning disability evaluations for children and teens, as well as psychodiagnostic and career assessments for adults. Treatment draws on a wide toolkit of evidence-based approaches including CBT, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, exposure therapy, and mindfulness-based methods. The practice supports patients through a broad spectrum of concerns, from anxiety, depression, and trauma to OCD, grief, disordered eating, and challenges faced by first responders. A recently introduced low-cost option, delivered by supervised student therapists, helps make quality mental health care more accessible. Located at 20 Eglinton Avenue West, CITC pairs clinical rigour with a warm, no-pressure intake process designed to match each person with the right therapist.
