About

CommunitiCare Health at 1700 Bloor Street West is a not-for-profit community health centre delivering primary care, mental health and addiction services, and a broad range of community programs to residents of West Toronto. The clinic accepts clients with or without OHIP and does not require a health card for access — a critical distinction that makes it genuinely inclusive for newcomers, refugees, and other community members who may face barriers to standard healthcare. Family doctors and nurse practitioners provide comprehensive primary health care across two west-end locations on Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West. In addition to medical care, CommunitiCare offers home support for seniors and people with disabilities, community transportation, social services and skills programs, and health promotion programs for all ages. Mental health and addiction services form a dedicated service stream with its own administrative team. The clinic's extended hours — Monday through Thursday until 8:00 PM — make access possible for working clients who cannot attend during the day. For residents of High Park, Roncesvalles, Bloor West Village, and the Junction, CommunitiCare is one of the most comprehensive community health resources in the west end.
