Eyes on Ellesmere
About
Eyes on Ellesmere is a focused, appointment-only optometry practice led by Dr. Yih Ling Chang — a University of Waterloo-trained optometrist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience who places great emphasis on getting to know each patient and customizing care to reflect their individual needs. Located at 62 Ellesmere Road in Scarborough, the all-appointment model applies even to frame repairs and adjustments, ensuring that every patient receives unhurried, dedicated attention at each visit. Dr. Chang's approach is built around proactive preventative strategies, not just corrective prescriptions. Diagnostic technology is a real differentiator here: Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging provides high-resolution cross-sectional views of the retina, cornea, and optic nerve — enabling early detection of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy before symptoms appear. Retinal fundus photography adds a longitudinal baseline view of the back of the eye. Services also include comprehensive eye exams, fashion-forward frame and lens selection, and custom contact lens fittings spanning dailies, torics, multifocals, and specialty lenses. Parking is available in front of the clinic.
