Hopewoods - Scarborough
About
Hopewoods is a Toronto-based psychotherapy and counselling centre established in 2011, with a dedicated Scarborough location inside the Total Recovery Rehab Centre at 3833 Midland Avenue — conveniently situated near the Evergold Centre at the intersection of Midland and McNicoll Avenues. The Scarborough clinic offers in-person therapy sessions in a confidential, non-judgmental, and serene environment, backed by Hopewoods' extensive team of registered psychotherapists, clinical social workers, and counsellors. A standout feature of Hopewoods is their multilingual capability — therapists serve clients in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Shanghainese, Hindi, Punjabi, and other languages, making them an especially valuable resource for Scarborough's diverse communities. Hopewoods provides a full continuum of mental health services including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, along with psychological assessments (psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational, and psychovocational). Evidence-based modalities offered include CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Specialty programs include co-parenting support, premarital and marital counselling, and children and teen therapy. For clients who prefer flexibility, virtual therapy sessions are also available seven days a week with extended evening hours. With in-person Saturday availability and a welcoming, culturally aware team, Hopewoods Scarborough is an exceptional mental health resource for families and individuals across the eastern and northeastern parts of Toronto.
