The clinic is the second location operated by the Midland-Ellesmere X-Ray and Ultrasound team, part of a network that has been delivering medical imaging to Scarborough for years. With a walk-in model for X-rays and bone density tests, the clinic offers a straightforward alternative to hospital imaging departments, where wait times can stretch into weeks. The service portfolio covers the core diagnostic needs of a community practice. General X-rays assist in diagnosing fractures, joint injuries, and respiratory conditions, while ultrasound services address abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, and vascular imaging needs. Mammography is available through the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP), and bone density scanning (DEXA) assesses osteoporosis risk. The clinic also performs echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, integrated prenatal screening, vascular ultrasound, sonohysterograms, and ultrasound-guided biopsies. The breadth of services available at this location means that many patients can have their diagnostic workup completed close to home without a referral to a hospital. Lawrence and Midland Radiology Centre operates on a part-time schedule: Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
