Tucked into the heart of the Wychwood neighbourhood at the corner of Davenport Road and Dovercourt Road, Wychwood Eyecare is a full-scope optometry practice led by Dr. Sharon Markowitz, a Toronto-born optometrist with over a decade of clinical experience. The clinic takes a thorough, unhurried approach to eye health, offering comprehensive eye exams, low vision assessments and rehabilitation, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging, visual field testing, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration. Wychwood Eyecare also provides pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgeries, binocular vision and visual skills assessments, and colour vision testing. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and accepts patients of all ages. Monday through Thursday hours run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it a convenient choice for the Wychwood, Hillcrest Village, and Bathurst-Davenport communities of Toronto's midtown west.
