Yonge Finch Chiropractic & Health Centre
About
Located on the ground floor of the North American Centre at 5650 Yonge Street, directly beside Finch station, Yonge Finch Chiropractic & Health Centre is the North York practice of Dr. John Filo, a chiropractor with more than twenty years of clinical experience. Dr. Filo is one of the first chiropractors in Canada certified in Endonasal Balloon Therapy, a specialized cranial technique that sets this clinic apart from a conventional adjustment-focused practice. The centre focuses on cranial and functional chiropractic care, using Endonasal Balloon Therapy and Functional Cranial Release to gently mobilize the bones of the skull and face. This non-surgical, drug-free approach aims to restore cranial rhythm, improve cerebrospinal fluid flow, and open nasal passages, helping patients dealing with chronic sinus issues, post-concussion symptoms, deviated septum, TMJ disorder, and related ENT conditions that have not responded to other treatments. Dr. Filo draws on a broad toolkit that includes Gonstead, Sacral-Occipital, and Webster pregnancy and pediatric techniques, as well as acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine rooted in his studies in Beijing. With a holistic philosophy shaped by decades of meditation and Eastern wellness practice, and a highly accessible location right at Finch station, the clinic offers North York patients a distinctive, root-cause approach to cranial and structural health. New patients can begin with a free phone consultation.
