About

Youth Without Shelter (YWS) offers a comprehensive Mental Health Program at its Etobicoke location (6 Warrendale Court), dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive care for homeless youth. Recognizing the profound challenges faced by young people experiencing homelessness, this program delivers a range of evidence-based and creative therapeutic interventions designed to foster healing, resilience, and empowerment. Core services include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to develop essential coping and emotional regulation skills, alongside expressive Art Therapy for processing trauma. The program integrates psychiatric care for medication management and holistic support, and facilitates referrals for family reunification services and specialized substance use counseling. YWS is committed to an inclusive and culturally sensitive approach, ensuring that all youth feel valued and supported on their journey toward long-term stability and well-being.
