About

Anishnawbe Health Toronto (AHT) at 425 Cherry Street in the West Don Lands is Toronto's leading Indigenous community health centre, providing culturally grounded primary care and holistic wellness services to First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples and their families living in the city. The purpose-built facility integrates Western medicine with traditional Indigenous healing practices, offering primary care, mental health support, walk-in counselling, child and family therapy, substance abuse supports, physiotherapy, chiropody, and dental care — all delivered through an intra-disciplinary team of Western and Traditional health care practitioners. AHT's programs also include a Diabetes Education Program, maternal and infant supports, youth outreach, FASD diagnostic services, and a Mobile Healing Unit that reaches clients who cannot access the main site. The centre is the only organization of its kind in Toronto serving the city's urban Indigenous population. New clients can register by calling 416-360-0486 for a primary care intake appointment. After-hours on-call services are available by phone.
